FAQ - Frequently asked questions

Who are you?

We are a colourful group of people from the Liestal region who believe in Jesus and shape their lives with him. We meet every Sunday to encounter God and live out friendships.

What does a church service look like for you?

The service starts at 10.00 am. Some people come a little earlier to get into conversation with each other.

Important elements are the moderation, communal singing (praise) and a sermon relevant to everyday life. A church service usually lasts five quarters of an hour. Afterwards, the coffee bar is open.

Parallel to the church service, there are also programmes for babies, children and teens.

What do I need to bear in mind when I attend a church service?

You can visit us every Sunday without any obligation. Attending a church service is nothing complicated at all - just come as you are. We will be happy to meet you for a chat over coffee after the service or answer any questions you may have.

How do I find a connection?

It's best if you just come along and stay for a while after the service with other churchgoers. We look forward to getting to know you better. We will also be happy to help you make connections. We will put you in touch with people and have suitable offers to make it easier for you to get started.

What does it cost to be a member with you?

The Viva Kirche Liestal lives from voluntary donations. There are no fixed membership fees. We offer events and accompaniments to interested parties free of charge.
